One of our biggest nights of the year, Campaign Launch was a roaring success for the team. With a turnout of around fifty members, managers, recruits and sponsors in attendance, we are beyond happy with our success. Here you can find some photographs of the night, and some quick thoughts from our extremely talented events manager who orchestrated the whole thing. Read on;
With the help of Novotel North Beach Wollongong, we were able to fully kit out one of their many picturesque beach-side function rooms. Alongside displays from our designers, we showcased memorabillia from 2017, our past designs, and of course, Missy and Evie.
“I think the campaign launch was a great way to officially kick of the massive efforts of UOW Motorsport 2018.” events manager Gabrielle Casey stated, “It was so encouraging for us to see so many sponsors there. We hope campaign launch allowed us to thank them for their help getting us to Comp last year, and give them show off the awesome things we hope to achieve this year.”
“I was really proud of the event, because so many people from the team came together to pull it off. I think it demonstrated the willingness of members to get involved and help out, it always amazes me how well everyone pulls together to get stuff done, made evident yet again!”
“I think it also allowed sponsors to see the fun side of the team (especially when trying to take photos) and how at the end of the day the team brings together a bunch of people into a close knit group that truely support each other.”
The nights’ success is just the kickstart many of the systems needed to validate their efforts. Campaign launch acts as a great touch point to not only catch up with the people who have supported us year after year, but also a good means of training up-coming recruits in their event coordination and networking skills.
We would like to thank everyone who came along and all those who contributed to such a wonderful evening among friends and family. We can’t help but think about the potential of our 2018 Reveal Night after seeing the success of this event, you will just have to keep your eyes peeled for more on that!
