Track Day 03rd February 2026

February 3rd marked another track day for the team. It was hoped that we could finally carry out some IMU testing and to ensure that it was connected properly. Sadly the team again faced more technical difficulties with the IMU testing that made it impossible to continue at track.

All in all it was still a worthwhile day of testing for the team. After being unable to undertake IMU testing the team pivoted to camber testing, aiming to fix the steering weight. The team was able to improve the steering weight by increasing the toe in the car, making the car more stable. The weight was further improved by the removal of some of the shimming from the suspension points. Despite this our drivers still reported that the car felt a little bit off.

Alongside doing some vehicle testing, the team put some effort into driver development throughout the day. The team used two of our 2025 competition drivers, this is to ensure relevant driver feedback and to receive reliable data. They both gathered valuable data throughout on how we can improve steering and feedback on the track for the day.

Overall, the day ran effectively with the car only having to be charged once, allowing for sustained track times and multiple runs throughout the day. While it was disappointing for the team not be able to run IMU testing again, the team did well to maximise the time at the track and continue building towards our goals.
