Our team is made up of a diverse group of students coming from a range of backgrounds and degrees. No matter what you are studying at UOW, the team offers an amazing opportunity for students to obtain practical experience and make friends.
Our team then gets split into 2 divisions to utilise our skillsets
Technical Division
We have 7 core systems: Aerodynamics, Chassis, High Voltage, Low Voltage, Powertrain, Suspension and Race Engineering – who all work together each year to design and manufacture a new car to compete in the FSAE-A Competition
Business Division
We have 5 core business systems: Media, Events, HR, PR, and Finance- who all work together to keep the team running throughout the year and show the world what we do
We hold two recruitment intakes a year at the start of each university semester. Our recruitment process is a 2-step process that involves both an individual division task and a group system task.
We provide mentoring from existing team members throughout the process to support the students coming in without existing CAD, motorsport, technical or business knowledge.
