FSAE-A Comp Day Three
The team arrived at Calder Park at 7:00 am, ready for today’s events. The agenda for today was Skid Pan, Acceleration, to pass EV Functional and Rain test.
At 8:30 am the drivers went to the driver briefing for Skid Pan and Acceleration.

After passing EV Functional the next event we did was Rain Test, this involves the car being put under a sprinkler contraption for 120 seconds, this test makes sure the insulation monitoring device (IMD) doesn’t shut down the tractive system before the 120 seconds is up. We passed this test first go, which lifted the spirits within the team.

The team then moved onto the Brake Test, unfortunately they came across an issue with resolver, the team missed out on Skid Pad and Acceleration due to this issue. The team went back to the pits and started locating and fixing this issue.

Later in the day we went to the track briefing and track walk. We left Calder Park ready for the final day of FSAE-A comp!
