FSAE-A Composition Day Four

The team arrived at Calder Park bright and early, ready for the final day of competition, today’s agenda is to pass Brake Test and then take part in the Autocross and Endurance events.

At 8:30 am we made our way to the Brake Test area; the team went through a few runs before passing the Brake Test.  We then moved onto Autocross; the car is sent out with a full battery to see who can do the fastest lap. Our two drivers each get two laps on track and the fastest time wins this event.  We finished 9th out of 17 participants.

At 1:00 pm the team then headed over to the Endurance and Efficiency event, this event tests to see if the team has built a reliable and efficient car, the car must complete 22km, with a driver swap in-between. Our first driver hit a few cones but was able to put in some decent lap times, our second driver was able to put in some consistent times, which meant we finished 6th out of 19 participants.

As the day came to an end, the team were happy with how we performed, the hard work and dedication the team put into our 2025 car, Cassie, is shown through their incredible efforts in getting the car ready for the various events at FSAE-A.
